Hello! This article is about our wonderful trip to Southern Moravia. We had a great time, so I would like to write some basic things about that lovely experience with my class.
Date: April 23rd – April 25th, 2024
Day 1:
Our class, B class, and a few people from the higher classes left early in the morning from school with a double-decker bus. It was a long journey. The first stop was in the restaurant for lunch. I didn't eat anything, because it was expensive. The second stop was Slavkov u Brna, the site of the famous battle. We saw the memorial and learned some history. Then, we headed to Velehrad to see old monuments and a big church. That was beautiful! Afterwards, we went to the Rustikal Hotel in Hustopeče for food and sleep. After dinner, the teacher also organized a walk in the village for volunteers.
Day 2:
After breakfast, we visited Lednice, a place with lots of history. We saw a huge greenhouse and walked around. After that, we visited the minaret – quite a rare building for the Czech Republic. Then, we went to Pavlov to learn more about the prehistoric times. We finished the day with a long walk on some hills. For dinner, we had schnitzel. Yummy!
Day 3:
We saw Mandlárna in Hustopeče after breakfast. An interesting place. We learned some new things about almond traditions in Hustopeče. Then, we visited big caves and looked around. An interesting, maybe a bit mysterious place. Then we got back home with a lot of memories from our trip!
