Recently we are celebrating a „Day for women right and equality. We have invited a Belgian ambassador Mr. Jurgen van Meirvenne to meet our firs- year classes and French student classes. The meeting took place on 12th March. They were discussing topics dealing with the Women right day and much more. The students took part in the discussion very enthusiastically. „There are a lot of differences between men and women but of course, these differences should not be the source of discrimination”, loosely quoted some of the sentences being heard during the discussion. During a very informal and exciting discussion, student could learn a lot not only about the position of women in society, inclusive language and position in labor market, but also a lot of exciting pieces of information about the countries, Mr. Meirvenne has visited and has worked as an ambassador.
I believe that students really enjoyed the discussion and we are very grateful for Mr. Meirvenne´s visit.
