In the first week in January we had our school ski course. We were lucky because we travelled alone in the bus. We had enough space and the ride was quite quick.
The hotel was a little bit old and didn´t look well. At least the ground floor was renovated. We got a small room on the second floor, which was quite old, but enough for sleeping. During the first night we had found out, that it was small but also very cold. The heating worked just till 10pm and whole nights it was off.
On the first day we took a small walk around to see what we could do there. In the mornings we usually spent 3-4hours downhill skiing.
In the middle of the day we had lunch and small 30 minute breaks to refresh. After that we usually spent our time cross-country skiing. Most people did not know how to. Therefore we started just around our hotel to learn the basic rules. It was hard work, because there was no track and too much snow. We spent most afternoons cross-country skiing around our hotel. On the fifth day we went on a trip for the whole day. The teachers chose a long track, we had to go 20kms. It was a really long journey and we were so tired afterwards.
We had dinners at 6 pm and after that we spent all evenings in the dining room with some games, chats and also presentations. One of the best was the chat with world champion in downhill skiing from 2005, Filip Trejbal. He told us a lot of things and funny experiences from professional sport.
We could go to the rooms usually at 9pm and had just one hour for ourselves. At 10pm it was bed time.
On the last night we had a big party with a lot of music and dance. After so such a big party we had to tidy the rooms. Lastly we went on a small trip around the hotel.
The trip was cool and it was great to get to know my school mates more.
