Are you interested in history? If so, you will love this city! On the 15th of May, our class had a trip to Kutná Hora, which is a city that has a stunning historical centre.
We got on the bus around seven o´clock. The way there was pretty long, but that´s understandable. Our first stop was the Saint Barbara´s cathedral. The inside of it was gorgeous, but we didn´t really get much time there. Then we went to „Vlašský dvůr“. It was really entertaining, because we got to make our own coins. After that, our teachers gave us an hour on the square. We got to wander around and had some free time to get snacks etc. On the way to the bus we saw many different stuff, for example the Gothic Stone Fountain. Our bus driver drove us a bit further and we took a look inside of the Sedlec Ossuary. It was extraordinary. It contains more than 40 000 human bones. The last stop we went to was the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The art inside of it was beautiful. They also played us a short film there. It was about the creation of Kutná Hora.
The trip was really interesting and educative. We definitely learnt a lot. I would recommend visiting this city.
