Last Wednesday, we had project day at my school Masaryk grammar school. The topic was “Slavnosti města Plzně”. Our class went to FEL “Electro Faculty” of the University of West Bohemia. We had some workshops there.
The first exercise was about a small paper bird. We were making a small paper bird. It was a swallow. E glued small led lights on the paper. Then the swallow was shining. My swallow had red, white and green color. We needed paper, led lights, blue light, pencil and our hands. It was a very interesting work.
In the second exercise we were making energy. We were riding a bike. When we were riding a bike, we were making energy. It was very hard but it was very funny. We had a small game. Who made the most energy? I was third. My friend Niky was second. Niky rides a bike. My sister Tonička won this game. She was very surprised.
After the workshop, I was with my friend Kačka very thirsty and hungry. We went to buy some food and drinks. I bought cola and sandwich. It was delicious. The weather was cold and it was raining. I was very funny when I was making a swallow because I liked it. I believe it was the best project day in this year.

Last Wednesday was a project day. My class went to university. We separated into two groups. My group started by making paper swallow with LED lights. We were able to choose from four color combination. I chose red – white combination. Our Swallows turned our very beautifully and we really enjoyed making them.
Then we moved to the next station. We had a little snack there and then the teacher gave us a little talk about electricity and power. Then we tired to make electricity on bike. Everyone was riding the bike for only 1 minute but it felt like the longest minute of our lives. We still had fun and we found out that we made barely any electricity at all. I really liked the way our performer was talking about this subject.
The whole day was amazing. I wasn´t expecting that much from it but it turned out really well. I am so thankful for this experience. I learned about new stuff and tried things I would not be able to try without my teachers. I am looking forward to the next project day.

On Wednesday we had a project day at electro-technic department of university. When we arrived there, we got a schedule of the program.
The first thing we did was separating into two groups. We started riding bicycle, that was counting energy we made. Everybody was there for three minutes. It was quite hard but I really enjoyed it. Then we had some time left, so we talked to a tutor of this faculty about electric energy and cars. This teacher was very funny and smart, we spent amazing time with him.
After that our groups changed activities. This part was about making paper birds, that was lightning. I didn´t mad what I wanted, but in my opinion, we had nice teamwork. There was one thing that I didn´t like. It was explaining from this lady teacher. She was nice, but she didn´t help us that much. This was the only thing I didn´t like.
If I need to rate this action from one to ten, I will give it seven and half. Everything was good, teachers were nice and the activities were ok. I really enjoyed it and I am excited about another action.
