The selling exhibition „Create Joy“ took part in our school on 15th March. The author of the idea, the main organizer and an author of some pieces of art is our English teacher Lenka Čermáková. It was her idea and her enthusiasm to encourage not only students but also teachers of our school to create something personal, some piece of art, piece of clothes, a decoration, a key chain or anything else that other people might fine lovely and could enjoy. From the idea to realization, there was a long way, when students and other teachers were creating things and bringing them to school.
On 15th May from 12 to 4 PM students and all employees of our school could come and buy some of these beautiful things. We would like to express big thank yous to all those who not only created but also bought some things. They not only brought a joy with a lovely present but also contributed to a great thing. It is natural for a man to create as Werich quoted. So please let´s search for joy and create beauty.
We all together collected more than 24 thousand CZK which then were used for our previous student who suffers from a terrible degenerative illness of muscles.
We are looking forward to the next year exhibition and another charity which we will contribute to.
