CIAMAR A THA SIBH kimmer uh ha šiv/ - How are you?
On 26th May 2025 the class 1C spent their English lesson with special guests from Glasgow, Scotland. Ronnie McCorrisken and Agnes Bryson came to see some students again after their previous visit to our school in December. They enjoyed their lesson with 1A, and therefore they were willing to spend some time in a different class. On this occasion, Ronnie donned the kilt with his family tartan and gave us details about customs, traditions the Scots cherish and are so proud of. Agi reminded us of their famous countrymen, scientists and inventors. We all enjoyed the introduction to basic phrases in Scots and Scottish Gaelic. Students had a very good chance to hear a Scottish accent and pronunciation. Even if it is not always easy, they told me they had understood most of it. Those who were brave did not hesitate and asked questions. Such get-togethers are always beneficial, and this was no exception.
THA GU MATH, TAPADH LEIBH. /ha gu ma, tappuh lehiv/ - Fine, thanks.
