Dear Stephanie,

I hope you´re doing well. I wanted to write you few lines about the amazing school trip we went on last week. We visited Belgium, France, Wales and London and it was incredible. I have so many experiences.

Our adventure started in Belgium, where we spent some time in Brugges, exploring historical sites and enjoying local food. The Belgium food really is as good and tasty as they say. We visited the Church of Virgin Mary and a large market place. We tried waffles with melted chocolate and strawberries and fries. We also went on a boat trip on the river Reie, which flows through the entire city. We has a great guide, who was talking about history and interesting places in the city. After that I bought souvenirs for my parents (postcards and Belgium chocolate).

In the evening we moved to France to Dunkerque, which is not far away from the port of Calais. After we checked into the hotel we went for a walk around the city. The most beautiful place was definitely the beach. It was my first time seeing ocean. It was wonderful. We were barefoot in water, which was really cold and salty. We found so many shells land pebbles and even some squid bones.

Next day we woke up really early, due to our ferry leaving at 6 o´clock in the morning. On the ferry, whe ate a typical English breakfast: fried eggs, toast, beans, bacon, sausage, mushrooms and hash brown (which is made from potatoes). I was surprised how much I liked it. The cruise went quickly and in two hours we were in Dover. After that we had a long journey to Wales. In the afternoon we were finally there. At first, we stopped in a small town Chepstow, which used to be called the gateway to Wales. We visited there medieval Chepstow Castle and Cistercian Tintern Abbey. In the evening we finally arrived to Cardiff the Ibis hotel.

Nest day in the morning after the breakfast we went by bus to the Raglan Castle (romantic and gothic), Caerphilli castle (the biggest castle in Wales) and former Roman city Caerleon, where we visited a Roman spa, an amphitheater and a museum.

On Wednesday, which was our last day in Wales, we traveled to Gower peninsula, where we went for a walk over 10 kilometers long. The place was wonderful and the views were breathtaking. I have never been anything better. We were amazed by beautiful view, infinite beaches, ocean, pastures and meadows with horses. I was glad I had a jacket because it was really windy and cold. After the hike we returned back to Cardiff, where we visited the city center including the Cardiff castle and shopping center.

On Thursday, after the breakfast at half past six, we packed all our things and went to London. There was so much to see and do, but we had only nine hours. We moved to the city center by boat on the river Thames. We say Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Whitehall, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square. There were so many people, but I loved the atmosphere. We bought some souvenirs (“I love London” t-shirt). In the evening we took a ride on London Eye, which was perfect. We were divided into two groups, because the capacity for one cabin was ones twenty people. The ride took approximately about thirty minutes. The view was amazing! It was our last activity, after that we took the subway back to the O2 arena, where a bus was already waiting for us.

The whole trip was unforgettable and I have so many great memories with my friends and photo to share. I can´t wait to tell you more about it when we meet pu.

Talk to you soon.
Best wishes.
Love Ema
